Its good to talk

Thought of the Day: It's Good to Talk (and Take Responsibility)

Wouldn't the world be a better place if we all just talked to one another?

Every day, we attend to disputes, between neighbours, parents on playgrounds, parking issues, that often could’ve been resolved with a simple conversation.
Instead, they escalate and end up tying up our officers and resources that could be used elsewhere.

💬 A little understanding can go a long way. It’s good to talk!

🚗 And while we’re on the subject of parking…

We know parking can be frustrating, but it’s a widespread issue, not just in Flintshire. From blocking driveways and parking on double yellows outside schools, to using parent and child bays without children, it’s happening everywhere.

We simply can’t be outside every school across the district.
Parents and carers need to take responsibility for how and where they park. Inconsiderate parking creates real risks, especially for children and those with prams, wheelchairs, or mobility issues.

Let’s work together to keep our streets safe and our communities respectful.

It starts with a conversation, and a bit of personal responsibility.

Dave
