Theft of registration plates

Hi Resident,

Just to make you aware, North Wales Police have received a few reports in recent days of registration plates being stolen from various vehicles across the South Flintshire area.

With this in mind, please report any suspicious behaviour in your area via the NWP website or by calling 101 (only use 999 in an emergency).

Did you know that you can purchase anti-theft / anti-tamper screws which can help prevent your vehicle being targeted by criminals looking to steal your number plates? These are available at many retail/hardware stores, so it is worth using these to secure your number plates to your vehicle.

Other ways to keep your vehicle safe include parking in a well lit area, on a secure drive where possible, and in view of good quality CCTV cameras.
